The Hancock Inn is delighted to be the location on two weekends in 2016 for the Northeast Fly Fishing School – May 21 & 22 and again September 17th & 18th, which is developed and led by New Hampshire River Guides.
This is a two-day comprehensive class for beginners and those that may have been away from the water for a while. Day One features five hours of classroom time followed by two hours of casting practice in the fields behind the inn. Day Two is four hours on local trout stream, with an instructor. The cost is $299 per person, which includes lunch on Day One and free use of all the necessary equipment including high-quality rods, waders and boots.
The Northeast Fly Fishing School instructors are professional fishing guides, licensed by the State of New Hampshire, members of the NH Professional Guides Association and insured. They do not profit from the sale of any fly fishing gear, so students benefit from unbiased advice. They educate many dozens of fly anglers every season in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Special weekend packages are available from the Inn with this program. Give us a call or check out Special & Packages on our web site.
