Ask anyone who knows to describe the Monadnock Region and the answer will include the word, “outdoors.” Most of the people that stay at the Inn during the year, winter or summer, if they aren’t visiting friends or family (or even if they are), are here to be outdoors. The village of Hancock has a population of 1600 residing in a space of 32 square miles. We share a great outdoors.
A grand protector of that great outdoors in this community, benefiting not just the village, but the entire region, is the Harris Center for Conservation Education, which manages many, many trails and conducts numerous, year-round hikes, lectures and other educational events, many of which are posted under the Events section of our website.
The Harris Center should not be missed on any visit to the area, especially if you wanna get away.
