Double Dessert - Enjoy a glass of champagne and chocolate dipped strawberries before having an in-room massage (by NH licensed massage therapist Emma Torsey)
Cost - $85.00 per person ($15.00 for significant "other" if they want just the champagne and chocolate with no massage)


Sommelier of the Day - Spend time with Robert learning about wines on the wine list (we have been a Wine Spectator Award winner for the past four years due to our fine wine selection!) and help select wines to pair with various dinners on the evening's menu. If you'd like - meet with other guests during dinner service to suggest wines and even learn how to serve wine correctly!
Cost - You must pay for any wine you buy personally - an additional $20.00 per person to learn about the wines and how to serve them


Crème Brulee Class - Learn how to make a GREAT Crème Brulee by spending one to two hours with a member of the staff! Take home the recipe and get to eat one of the Brulees you make!
Cost - $20.00 per person/$30.00 per couple


Granola Class/Recipe - Weekends only - Learn how to make our special Granola - take home 1 pound of Granola and our special/secret recipe!
Cost - $20.00 per person - $30.00 per couple



Seasonal Selections
These activities are available on a seasonal basis and only by advance reservation


Apples Galore - Fall - Walk up Norway Hill to McLeod's Apple Orchard and pick a selection of apples - when you come back either work with the chef to create your own fabulous apple dessert, applesauce OR use our old fashioned apple press to make cider to take home with you
Cost: You buy the apples, we provide the press and/or kitchen time for $10.00 more!


Blueberry Bonanza - July - Take a delightful drive over to Pitcher Mountain and pick as many blueberries as you'd like (we'll supply the pails). Bring them back and work with our chef to create a blueberry confection of your choice to take home or share with others at breakfast the next day.
Cost - we supply the pail, you pay for the blueberries you pick - we provide time with the chef for an additional $10.00 per person!


Everyday "Bites" - Just for fun - do it yourself adventures!

Visit the Hancock Farmer's Market every Saturday from May - October and pick up local produce and home baked goods to take home!

Visit Pickety Place for a five course gourmet Herbal Luncheon - explore their herb gardens if you can still walk! (reservations required)

Visit local "sugar shacks" in the spring to see Maple Syrup being made

Visit Boggy Meadow Farm for artisan Cheese making

Visit an artisan bakery (Baba Louis) for the most scrumptious raisin bread in the world!



After your Hancock Inn Fun for Foodies Vacation, you'll be glad to know that there are a total of seven participating Select Registry inns in New England and New York offering similar Fun for Foodies regional culinary experiences and exceptional accommodations.
