A Day along the Connecticut River

First Stop: St Gaudens National Historic Site in Cornish, New Hampshire.
Discover the Home, studios, and gardens of the great American sculptor. Take a guided tour, visit an art exhibit, or walk along the beautiful trails at this New Hampshire gem.

Next stop:Cross the Connecticut River on the Cornish-Windsor Covered Bridge- the longest covered bridge in the United States.

Next stop: Head north to
Simon Pearce to watch glassblowers at work, visit the retail shop and have a locally sourced lunch while overlooking this beautiful river.

Next stop: Start south toward the Vermont Country Store for floor-to-ceiling sensibility and delight.

Next Stop: Back to the New Hampshire side of the river and Burdick’s Chocolate Shop & Café for something sweet

Last Stop: Return to the Hancock Inn!
