ON the heels of our recent wine tasting, we will host a taste of American whiskeys – bourbons and ryes – on Saturday, September 20th, at 5:00 p.m. The tasting will be led by Chuck Cowdery, writer and Kentucky Bourbon Hall of Fame member. Napa winemaker, Art+Farm was here for a wine tasting dinner this week. Owner, Kat McDonald led a packed house on a tour of both her whites and reds. These are great, very approachable wines: drinkable, affordable, delicious.
Spectators witnessed a back-and-forth match in the Finals of the Inn’s first Croquet Tournament. In the end, Tom Gloudemans and John Guimond triumphed over Rich LeFebvre and Daniel Henderson by the score 4-0.
FOURTEEN teams will compete for our first Croquet Championship that starts this weekend and continues through until the Finals, scheduled for Sunday July 6th. Many thanks to all the participants!
