Sunday Supper tomorrow, the last day of the month will be Pork Paillard (pounded, breaded and fried pork loin) along with rice and beans. For starters, fish cakes with aioli sauce, and for dessert, Sopapilla.

Norway Pond is the centerpiece of Hancock. It marks the seasons – swimming in the summer time, skating in the winter, color in the fall. Those colors are just starting to creep in around the pond. Autumn in New England is something special.
The Welch Family Farm up the road from the Inn has been a protected part of the New Hampshire State Park system since about 1995. As with so many of the walks around here, after 10 minutes the world disappeared behind a curtain of wilderness.
