Norway Pond is the centerpiece of Hancock. It marks the seasons – swimming in the summer time, skating in the winter, color in the fall. Those colors are just starting to creep in around the pond. Autumn in New England is something special.
The Welch Family Farm up the road from the Inn has been a protected part of the New Hampshire State Park system since about 1995. As with so many of the walks around here, after 10 minutes the world disappeared behind a curtain of wilderness. Good view of Skatutakee Mountain from the old farm.
