The Inn will be closed for 10 days, beginning October 27th, while we take time to make a few improvements and wash some windows. We will reopen to houseguests and for dinner beginning Wednesday, November 6th. Please take note of our NEW dinner hours for the winter season once we re-open.

Earlier this year a casually dressed woman appeared on the front porch of the Inn with a fife and played to passersby for 30 minutes or so. Unprompted and unannounced, it was a spontaneous concert that drew people out onto Main Street to enjoy. And, then, there she was again yesterday, this time in full regalia! Thank you Sherry Madden, fife player!

James Stacy’s Grounds Care company completed the installation of our new vegetable garden today, raised beds and all. And Matthewson Company was here this week as well to grade the back field for croquet!
